I bought this phone Lenovo P780 on November 03rd 2013 from a Lenovo exclusive showroom in Chennai, since used this phone for nearly 3 months thought of posting the feedback. I opted for this phone because of his huge battery power 4000 MAH and the brand. Let me give the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Looks: This phone looks extremely professional, its front full black view gives elegant view. Phone is grey coloured and looks very professional. It has chrome line which runs through the middle border of the phone which adds its beauty. Lenovo branding comes both
below the earpiece and at the back.
Battery: This phone’s battery is amazing. I used to charge only once in 3 days. Even after usage of internet and many calls, it is withstanding its battery life for 3 days, at 3rd day end it still has 20% power left.
Features: This phone is stuffed with lots of feature, some are 1) attending the calls by placing the phone to ear. 2) For attending the call when we take the phone from pocket or from desk, its ring tone volume decreases. 3) while phone rings and if we want to put its ringtone to silent just turn it down(screen facing down). 4) It has Lotus feature where frequency used apps can be included in it.5) has indication lights for missed calls and messages.
Performance: This phone’s performance is smooth. It goes smoothly with out any lags.
Internet: Working internet in this is phone is super fast.
Speaker: Speaker of this phone has real good sound.
Noise Cancellation: This is the feature which I would appreciate very much. When my cousin called me while I was travelling in train, he asked me where I was, I said train. He could not at all believe that because he said that he could not here any noise in background. This happened for 2 types.
Touch: Touch is real smooth.
Customization: Most of the UI’s in this phone is customized unlike other android phones. So we get a unique feel when we operate and it looks cool. Even this one of my friend appreciated.
Build in Apps: It has a good number of build in apps like FB, Twitter, Gmail and one which I like the most is the Cleaner which comes within it.
Cons:
Unavailability of accessories in the market. But we have lot of collections of accessories on Ebay. I bought the scratch guard and flip cover from Ebay.
Overall, I felt I made a smart decision as many of my friends appreciated its battery, noise cancellation, speaker, screen clarity, touch, cool UI, rather I could tell my friends, they in turn tells me these. This is really a worth for money.
