I have a Thinkpad X201 tablet which is among high end tablets of Lenovo. It’s pathetically slow and the battery lasted not more than 18 months. The tablet has a warranty of 36 months but the battery warranty in fine print mentions 12 months.
And it has another feature, it heats up so fast that even if I keep the tablet on a thickboard on my lap, it still starts burning... so currently use it to heat water for my tea ..... a 1.2 lac worth of tablet as a water heater.... And the service center - first of all it’s difficult to get through and if you are able to get through the menu options take you on a long ride and finally when it comes to talking to the call center executive - it mysteriously switches off - not once - not twice but at least 10 times I have tried.
Never a Lenovo again.....
