Overall review
Bought it from Flipkart.
Pros:-
Camera quality is up to the mark. 13mp back is a beast. Low light selfies is a problem. Otherwise 8mp with auto LED flash is good.Battery backup is fairly ok. Phone calls are clear. There is no problem with the heating issue. Gaming in this phone is superb. With 4GB ram games upto 3-4GB size run smoothly.The best thing which I like about this phone is the inbuilt VR mode feature which splits the screen into 2 halves.Perfect for entertainment purposes.
Cons:- The ones which I mention are serious . People who are planning to buy this phone .Do take note.
1.Low light selfies are problem. Sometimes the images are not clear.
2.All doubts about Helio octa core are put to rest. Snapdragon is clearly the winner.The phone hangs if there are too many running apps.It occurred to me 3-4times, since I am a heavy user of my phone. For light users this problem may not occur. I regret not getting the Redmi 3S prime which has same features and even it is 2k less.
3.The update of apps issue with marshmellow. I am not a marshmellow fan. It asks permission of everything, which is quite irritating.Remember to update your Google play services regularly because it won’t update automatically.If play services don’t update u can’t download or update any of your apps.
Overall with heavy usage the battery lasts well for a day.Playing games like pokemon go for 2-3hours, with mobile data and GPS on.
Do go for this phone if u love to see VR, 3D featues . Otherwise if u can wait.Go for Redmi 3S prime whenever it’s available in stores.
friends I think you ll should buy this phone lenevo is a big brand at this it is quit good value for money I should prefer that you all should buy 3 gb varient because it is sufficient for all multitasking don’t buy 4gb varient I am not facing any problem no heating issue and we can not play games like asphalt 8 in high graphics mode it lags but in medium graphics we can play without any issues but I like most in this phone is no heating problem and Dolby atmos battery is also good so I am very happy with this phone.
