Its not an old story when your phones gives up on you in most important of time and you cant find any charger and you are using every power saving feature you got in your phone so atleast you can save your phone for basic things like calls.You don’t expect any android phone to help you in long journeys without buying a seperate power. bank for you .
But what about a device which is A beast in battery and A powerbank itself? Yes its true and the phone you will want is LENOVO VIBE P1.And extraordinary phone in terms of battery and most importantlly an android phone with all the best feature you can get in this price range , can use whtaspp youtube and anything without any battery issue.Well its just not an battery that is a an attractive feature but many other that I will mention in this review.So lets get started with the Phone review
Now if you look at the device the device is really good looking.Its a 5.5 inch device in front a 5mp camera and with dual sim slots 32 gb internal storage and still an expandability option at this price range which is wow.its power button and volume button on the right side and powersaving button on the left.The 5000mah battery Yes the 5000mah battery is sealed in and on the top the pastic part where there is a headphone jack and noice cancellation mic are the sim slot which are for nano sim and expandable storage slot.The first time I opened it I was scared I thought I broke it.But that is exactly how it opens and the part below is made of metal with finger print scanner 13mp camera and dual flash led.In all built is superior and the device may be on the heavier side but still I got used to it.The speakers are below which may look like there are two but the right side one is only one that is active and is really loud you will not have any problem with speakers
Talking about display the display is 1080p amazing and is realy good the movie watching experience is really good.
I am not much fan of Vibe UI so I use nova launcher.There is option in settings where you can enable smart screen option in display that really improves the overall feel and tuner according to which you can change the display colour and saturation etc according to your taste.So no problem with display here the 5.5 inch display with 1080p resolution is really good.
It comes with a standard 5mp camera front amd 13mp rear camera with dual flash led camera like any other devices with same cameras.Don’t get me wrong the camera is good in good lighting conditions and outdoor but in low light artificial light it is just average amd sometimes just blurry but its not a bad camera but also not a great one. The front cam is also good.Not really an amazing selfie camera but it does the job .Also the rear camera is capable of shooting 1080p video that is good.Not a bad camera at all but not a very extraordinary performer also.
The call clarity was really good I was impressed with 4g support in both the sims and there is no problem in either side if call and call was really good with no dropped calls and record feature and speaker also does a good job.Nothing much to mention here I had no issues in call.
Now lets talk about the best feature about the battery.The battery is excellent. I tried my best by using whatspp youtube playing lot of games and movie watching but the phone will just wont run out of battery.Its so amazing that I got 7-8 hours of screen ontime on my cellular data and on wifi shockingly 9-9: 30 hours of screen ontime.And that is not it , I used it as a power bank with cable provided by lenovo to charge my 2330 mah battery phone from 0-100 and still it had 45% left and I was still able ti get 4 hours of screen ontime.It is just amazing that I never ever ran out of juice for anything.Who uses their device continuously for 8 hours? I used if for 2 days still in the end 20% left .You will never have any bettery issue with this phone wether you are travelling or using is like everyday.I loved it in terms of battery .Reminded me of my nokia days when I could just leave my phone for day and still with just 1bar missing from my battery. But there is no use if this battery take 5 hours to charge.Thankfully lenovo provided a rocket charger that can charge it in 0-100 in roughly 2 hours.I mean even my 3 years old xperia with 2330 mah battey takes 2: 30 hours.In short just an amazing battery .They also gave a power save button I dont know why because the battery performance is excellent it turns the display black and white and your phone can run for upto a week of usage.Amzing still.
The lenovo p1 is equipped with 1.5ghz qualcomm sbapdragon 615 64 bit octa core. With 2 gb of ram.Now if the phone can’t perform well there is no use of a large battery but this phone performs like a pro in everyday usage.You will not have any problems in day to day usage.Most importantly it doesn’t heat up much.Also whilr charging it may but it is completely normal.I did noticed occasional lag but it can be solved by reducing animation speed in dev.options by 5x default if 1x.But other things like fb whtsapp youtube movies and everything No problem and its a delight to use the phone with no battery problem too.Talking about gaming I noticed lag even in medium settings so if you are a gamer kind of person it may not be for you.Otherwise regular usage is great.
- -FINGERPRINT SCANNER & NFC-
The other attractive feature is the Finger print scanner and NFC.Such an amazing deal.With NFC & Fingerprint you can do google pay google wallet pay bills do transactions very securly. Even the flasgships like oneplus2 and Yutopia don’t have any NFc which is a noticable thing.I am really impressed with addition of NFC.Very smart move.Also finger scanner is good but still it works 60-70% of time.But is fine.I still like it at such feature packed price point.
Now at last I will just say that this is the most practical android phone I ever used without any battery headcahe.Even though its not a flagship.But battery thing will make you love this phone so much you will complain using other phones.So addictive is battery performance.Its like a Nokia of android phones lol.Still a good choice for many heavy users out there.
