Lenovo y410 3000 is an extremely handy laptop for first time users.I bought it in December 2009 and its working perfectly till date.Ii do formatted my laptop many a times for my personal use but it has hardly affected my hard-disk or processor.
It has a list of new features like Veriface, Shuttle center and direct Pop-in CD-ROM. The only thing bad about it is the CD_ROM I guess since it requires regular clean up and if your a hard core user you won’t even dare to do that. My CD_ROM has expired last year due to an Optical lens fault but thanks to lenovo as they have integrated the feature of booting the PC with a USB device so its fine with me.
Lenovo should really focus on their help and support desk as they don’t have any idea about the purchase date of a device and the time of warranty allotted to the same.
As I use my laptop 24 * 7 I had to first visit a Support center to change my battery they greeted me well and provide the service as desired on time along with a bill which one should get really freaked off if his laptop is in warranty. At last I was made to come the very evening with the bill to get my laptop back free of charge.
