My laptop is currently over a year old and initially I was pretty happy with the product even though the specifications were very low. One fine day, six months in, I found my laptop off when I came back from my lunch break. I thought it might have been a minor glitch but it later turned out to grow more and more. Now my Laptop is nothing more than a typewriter as I am unable to watch movies on it, play games, or even watch videos from youtube on full screen. As soon as I boot up a game or a video online the fan suddenly starts off on full power followed by the system turning off. The only alternative I found to that was unplugging the charger and playing or watching the video while taking breaks for my laptop to charge up again. But then another problem started occuring, as soon as the laptop battery has about 50% left (1 hour remining) it turns off saying that the battery is low. Wow, talk about a faulty product with nothing working properly. I researched about this problem and found out that most of the people using Y410 model are having the same problems if not all lenovo users. And yes to top it all, even the DVD drive stopped working. :)
BOTTOM LINE: Do not buy lenovo Y410 or even try avoiding Lenovo products as they are faulty and highly overpriced Typerwriters.
