Awful experience at Lenskart

This is to discuss about my awful experience at Lenskart - dont know how people are rating them so high. My order: 1204000354 was placed after their person came for home eye checkup and collected all details for measurement and submitted. First of all, he committed 30% discount and then, while paying money - he told its not applicable. As I already spent 2 hours with him, I just continued to pay huge amount.


Then, the specs came after few days and worst is: It doesnt even fit in size even after their person only took sizing and submitted. When I asked, they told me to go to Lenskart store in my city and get it fixed. When I went to their store, the person tried to fix it and just broke!(I can understand what is the third-class quality at such high price). Then, he told me - not to worry - as its broken by their person, I can just take photos, take intimation from Lenskart for return and send it to them. They will process full refund and then, I can take new one at their store.


I did the same and got approval for sending it back(Return ID: 706442) and then, they called me and said that I have broken it myself - if their person have broken it, where is the PROOF!? I should not have taken it back(though in that case, I could not have sent it back too and lose amount!) - so, I am dishonest, liar and I should forget my money.


After spending 15 days of time with these guys, I lost many hours in calling these guys and finally, Rs. 5000 approx. As I could not wait for lenses that much, I got it done with local shop in Rs. 750 which is thousand times better than Lenskart.


They have crossed all limits for humiliation and I am planning to lodge complain in consumer care - not only for Rs. 5K but compensation for humiliation too.
