Successfully placed an order for eye-test, with an intention of knowing the prescription and frame sizes from lenskart team, and place order for specs and contact lenses. I thought I could avoid the issue of frames not fitting properly etc due to this arrangement.
Issue is that the order for try-on was successful, but received an email after 2 days saying the order is unsuccessful for unknown reason! wasted time awaiting for optometrists.Soon after placing the order, I checked with lenskart support team regarding the timeline of their teams visit, who then replied that it is max. 48hrs and that theyll soon call me.Factually, lenskart took 48hrs to cancel an order that was originally successful and ruined my weekend plans as I gave priority to this eye thing.Unnecessarily, I now have to deal with checking my refund and find alternatives.
I also use bigbasket.com, which does deliver goods on the said time and doesnt miss any ordered items. Bigbasket seems to be professional and I mistakenly thought lenskart would be similar.
