Overall, Lenskart is decent online shopping portal for eyewears. Range is quite wide.
Chances are high that you heard about them because of "Get your first Lens Free".Things are good till they go bad and you want someone to hear you out.But few things you need to consider before hand:
1)Do not pay by CC or Debit card. Opt for cash on Delivery. They are very prompt if you have opted for Cash On Delivery. I paid upfront using my credit card and twice they did not turn up for confirmed appointment for eye power checkup at home.
2)The Support team is filled with bright people. But they seem overwhelmed. I had to wait 45 minutes just to catch hold of someone on Chat. Average waiting time for me on Phone was 10 Minutes.
3)The option to try the glasses online by uploading your image, simply does not work. I tried with different browsers, but the thing simply does not work.
4)For getting your eye power checked at Home, don’t pay up-front. This guys don’t turn up on time and don’t even bother to inform you that they are getting delayed. This happened to me twice and on both occasions the home checking team simply did not call up to inform that they will not be able to turn up on scheduled time.
5)If you want to cancel order, they will take at least 5-7 days to give your money back.
