Even before I knew where Mumbai was, I knew where Leo’s was, and what it was all about. It has always been a place for ’foreigners’ or ’firangs’. I have had the good fortune to witness a few brawls as well. And the waiters are always non-committal. This place has its own charm.
Leo’s, which is what everybody calls it, is a place where you can go on your first date, or your tenth date, with your parents, with business associates, and definitely with friends. And you will always meet someone you know.
The onion steak here has remained the same for the past 15 years that I have eaten it. This is the one item on the menu that I always ask for. Sometimes, I eat the prawn curry with rice. I love the fresh lime water (sweet) and the glass that it comes in. A great alternative to the beer. This place is one of a kind, so what are you waitin for?...go to leo and get yoursel drink....!
