On Sunday 7th August 2011, I made a purchase of LG OPTIMUS P500 ( order no: LSB-283058). I chose the mode of payment as upfront payment by my debit ICICI Debit card ( which I now consider as my biggest mistake.. COD is the most safest payment options I realise now).
The amount towards the product was duly deducted from my account making a mention of the transaction no. and the payee which is letsbuy.
On 8th August, when I called up the customer care to make sure everything is alright, I got to know that they have not proceeded towards making the shipment as they have not received confirmation of payment. I was told by them to wait for 24 hours and even wrote an e-mail for the same.
However again on 9th August when I called again they stated that even after 2 days of payment they have not received the payment.
Earlier ( on 8th august) as per the request of the online service executive I duly sent them my bank statement showing the details of the transaction and my pan-card.
They still state, even after 2 days of making the payment, that they have not received the confirmation of the payment.
I find this absolutely dubious and am really scared of what and when ill be getting my phone now.
Never before has this happened to me while making purchases from other sites.
I hope and sincerely wish everything turns out right.
