POOR CUST SERVICE OF LETSBUYand EXPRESSIT courier

ALL BUYERS PLANNING TO BUY ON LETSBUY, READ THIS.


recently I ordered a samsung galaxy s2 on 17-07-11.  on 20th I got a mail from lets buy about shipping details.


Shipping details.


LSB-225389        Express it courier    Docket No: F172331272


Then I was expecting it to get it by 22-07-11.


i waited till 25-07-11. The courier company [ expressit] was one of the worst I have ever seen. They never update their tracking details. Their cust service number doesnot work.


On 26th I gave a complaint to letsbuy as I could not contact courier service.they asked me wait for 24 hrs.


On 27th I called letsbuy again.they asked me wait for 24 hrs.


i could contact Express it bombay office, they gave hyderbad office number, which is again not working.


On 28th I called letsbuy again.they asked me wait for 24 hrs.


On 29th I called letsbuy again.they asked me wait for 24 hrs.


Most of the cust.service guys at letsbuy are dumb, they dont know what to do. always they say to wait for another 24 hours. I lost hope.


Finally one guy from Expressit called me on 29th at 2pm said he will deliver it on 30th as it was 2pm.


Very strange .Courier service not delivering after 2 pm, that to in center of city.


Finally I got it on 30-07-11.


Important twist here is Courier guy says its not their fault. He says Letsbuy.com asked them to hold the item for all these days.No reason for this.


Then I called letsbuy to get answer for this, again as usual Custmer service guy has no answer.


Totaly I spent Rs 200-250 for calling Letsbuy and Express it. which is not worth.


I dont know why they select 3rd grade courier companies like expressit,


If you are still planning to buy through letsbuy, call them before buying and ask them to ship through Bluedart.


Otherwise be prepared to wait for 10 days.

There are so many websites now. Check Flipkart , Buytheprice.com. before buying. some items are cheaper on these sites even after using these discount coupons.

Today I got a call from Letsbuy about the Mouthshut review.


I told them what happened. They said it was mistake of courier company. After few hours a call came from Expressit couriers saying that it was completely mistake of them , not Letsbuy.


When I asked them the cause for delay, he said that parcel went back to Delhi from Hyderabad because of miscoding. and from delhi it came back to Hyd.


I dont know how this can happen. After receiving parcel for delivery how can courier company send it back to Delhi. some thing fishy?


On 29th same courier company  said parcel was held back because of Letsbuy request.


Any way I am happy that my review raised some discussions between Letsbuy and Expressit. Hope they found out what went wrong and why?


Atleast now Letsbuy should think twice before sending their / our valuable items through Third grade couriers like expressit.


I think I will buy from them again but only after getting confirmation that they ship through Bluedart.


I hate expressit for their poor [ZERO] customer service and Tracking services.
