Horrible service ....customer care sucks

I made an order on https://Letsbuy.com with order no. LSB-802541 on 21-Jan-2012 for a Sony digital camera for Rs 5410. I made the payment from my CitiBank Credit Card. This was the biggest mistake I have ever made.


My ordeal began when my order was shown as pending on the Letsbuy website even after making the payment. I immediately receive the message from Citibank that the amount of Rs 5410 has been spent on letsbuy. I Immediately called them and give them all the details. Since I received a response saying that they have not received the payment and I need to send my credit card statements!


Just imagine my horror they asked me to send them my credit card statements! and it gets worse. If I do not mail the statement then the amount will be refunded back within 21 days! My own money will take 21 days to come back! They don’t even have the basic payment systems in place to track payments and they are running an online retail site! Truly anything is possible in this season of SCAMS!


I mailed my statement and payment got updated.After 3-4 days, they called me and said that they do not have the red color in this model which I ordered So I asked them to send different color. Today is 1st Feb, I haven’t received the product and there is no information from letsbuy.


When I called their customer care no.0124-4901234 to know the deliver status, they put me on hold for 3-4 minutes, and after chatting with a useless Letsbuy tele caller who had no information and no clue whatsoever, I demanded that I want to talk to their senior. Taken aback she agreed and after putting me on hold for


another 4 minutes, instead of the senior she herself told me that her senior is saying that there is slight delay and It will be dispatched soon!


In the end, I figured it out that if I continue chatting everyday with the useless Letsbuy telecallers on phone, then I will probably spend another Rs 1, 000 on the phone bills itself! I have no idea when I will be receiving the product as order status still shows in process.:)


I would suggest Never buy from Letsbuy as met out the worst kind of shopping experience. Improper response from the site and no commitment to delivery and if you think that you can complaint to the customer care. But in the end, It’s your Money and it’s your Choice!


Let’s see and hope that better sense prevails. This time I am fully determined to pursue this matter to its Logical conclusion, even if it means going to the consumer court.
