I am a very frustrated customer who would think 10 times before buying from your website again in future.
I ordered a laptop Dell XPS14 Laptop from your website on 27th Nov 2010 via order no. LSB-660542. The website said the product would be delivered to me within 4-7 business days. I called your company on the 5th of Dec to check for the order & was informed by your employee that it will be delivered to me before the cut off date ie 6th Dec. I again called on the 6th Dec to check but was again assured that the laptop has been send from your end & will be for SURE DELIVERED to me by the end of the day. When I did not receive the laptop till 8 pm I called & spoke to Nitin(employee in your customer care). Nitin told me that the company was having some procurement issues & the laptop was still not with the company. When I wanted to speak to the supervisor I was told that right now he is busy & he would give me a call back in the next 15-20 mins. After waiting for 1 & half hour I called the customer care & spoke to Narender(supervisor). He told me that he would escalate the matter to the concerned team & I could call back the next day ie 7th Dec between 12 - 2pm.
When I called during that time I was advised to call back when the concerned supervisor(Narender) is in his shift. I again called around 10pm & after waiting for 20 mins on the phone I spoke to another supervisor(Liton Paul). He told me that the laptop is there in the Delhi Ware house & will be sent to me by courier & I will be getting a mail & an SMS tomorrow ie on the 8th Dec. He guaranteed me of this. After waiting the entire day for the mail or the sms I again called around 10pm & again spoke to Narender(supervisor) after waiting for 20 mins. He said that the laptop is available in the Mumbai ware house & would be send to me from there. I has spend hours on the phone speaking to 5 different people & this has led me no where. When I could have got the laptop with no hassle I had to go through so much problems & still nothing has happened.
Even if the company is facing some problems, the cusotmers should not be made fools as I was made several times by your employees including your supervisor(Liton Paul)I have shopped with Flipkart Several times & I must say their service is 100 times better then what I was provided by letsbuy.With this kind of service do you expect people to do business with your company.
With so many new companies coming up in online shopping platform can your company afford to have this kind of customer service.I will be posting this mail to all the consumer forums & online forums so that people can come to know what kind of service your company is providing to people.Also if my laptop is not delivered to me I will be going to CONSUMER COURT & the case will be filled against you under CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 1986 UNDER "UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES" where I will seek compensation from the company.Also will be posting about the company on all the **SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES LIKE FACEBOOK so that people can come to know what kind of services are given by your company.
