I placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S II mobile phone with free accessories on 12 June 2011. The website represented that the Delivery Time is 4-7 working days. Very promptly, Letsbuy.com (Etree Marketing Pvt. Ltd.) charged the VISA credit card the same day! I sent an email soon after the order was placed inquiring as to the status.
I received a reply from one "Kanika" on 13 June 2011 informing me that the phone and accessories were in stock and would be sent together. Thereafter, there has been no change to my order status and absolutely no response to 3 emails sent to them inquiring when the product would ship. I then called their customer service number and spoke to one "Shabeeb" who was not particularly polite. After putting me on hold for about 5 minutes, he informed me that it would take another 15-20 working days (i.e. nearly a month) to get the phone. I then asked him to process the refund.
The dishonest business practices of this company are truly shocking. They misrepresented the stock status at the time of collecting the order/payment and also the following day but have since then stopped replying my emails.
I only hope that this company is not dishonest in refunding the money and I get the refund in time and dont have to take legal recourse to get the money back.
