I have been shopping online for last 15 years(starting with AMAZON, BUY.COM etc.), but never encountered such a bad customtakeouter service.
I have ordered a laptop on 27th Oct which was delivered on 2nd Nov, the product was defective and used as O/S was already configured, which is generally not the case with new laptops, I immdiately informed letsbuy customtakeouter service about the problem, and on Nov 3rd they informed that someone will pick up defective product the next day, but it was not picked up, Now it 10 days(Nov 12th) and I am following up on daily basis to pickup, but no improvement in status quo. The customtakeouter return service person wont pickup her phone or reply your emails. When you call customtakeouter service you have to wait 10 to 30 minute before some one picks up the call, they are generally polite, but no action, as I believe they have to pass the buck to customtakeouter Return Service again. I have written to ceo@letsbuy.com as well, but never got even an automated reply. I dont believe the CEO even cares about customtakeouters.
I regret the decision of buying a product from Letsbuy and decide not to repeat the mistake. I think flipkart, anytimeretail, indiaplaza are much better estores.
I feel now best option would be buying the product locally even it is bit costier, you can atleast demand better customtakeouter service.
I am planning to move to consumer forum, if they dont take appropriate actions soon.
