Frustrating experience due to bad product info

I wanted a mouse so thought of ordering it through letsbuy using coupon as it was cheaper than market price. Placed the order for the mouse on 22nd Sept. and was pleasantly surprised to receive the product on 24th Sept. Delivery within two days was the minimum time frame stated on product page so I was really happy.


However, my joy was short-lived. The product I received was completely different than what I was expecting and shown on product page. I wanted a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse(a very common desktop mouse which I think even Letsbuy guys must be using) whereas I was shipped  a Microsoft Optical 200 mouse which is more of a laptop mouse(much smaller). I had doubted the product name "Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse 200" as there is no such product, but looking at the product picture which I knew was a Basic Optical as I already own one and the Overview which clearly stated "Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse", I was reassured that this was what I wanted.


Still, not having contacted them, I had not made a final judgement on Letsbuy. I mailed them my problem with a detailed explanation but have not received a reply even after 3 days. When I called customer care all I was told was that I would get a reply within 24 hrs!


So a quick summary of cons -




  1. Wrong product name




  2. Wrong product picture




  3. Wrong product overview




  4. Unresponsive customer care






Pros -




  1. On time shipping




As can be seen from above, at least in my case, cons outweigh the pros. Also, what is the use of fast shipping if the product itself is wrong?

I have attached a picture highlighting the errors that led to this bad purchase. I advise anyone buying from Letsbuy to recheck the product details by calling customer care to avoid ending up wasting money on the wrong product.
