Pathetic little order - 2 Surge Protectors  from their Happy Hour - each barely Rs 349. Thought Id try Lets Buy out as Ive been a frequent user of Flipkart (where Ive never had a reason to call customer care). I order 2 items both 3 Way Surge Protector (multi-plug strips) but slightly different as one is Rs 379 and the other Rs 349.
They send me two identical items. I call them asking if there was a difference between the two items I ordered. They said yes, but that theyd made a mistake in delivery and would arrange for a pick up.
30 secs later I get a call asking if I had received the item. I repeat the entire story and this person too says they will arrange for a pickup but will send the correct item immediately - Im still kinda impressed.
Next day I get a Fedex guy at my door with an envelope (he didnt know what to pick up and said hed only be picking up for international delivery and only documents - ?!).
I call Letsbuy and they say print out the invoice and give it to him. What invoice? Oh - you didnt get an invoice? OK - tell him to go. 3 days later. Hey, theres a pick up to be done. OK well send him to your office. 5 mins later I get a call from someone else saying someone is heading to my residence.
I say no, Im at work and the item is here. Oh sorry - cant change the pickup - can you go home? (for a freakin 350 buck thingy!)
Person finally lands up at my office after numerous calls between Blue Dart and me. I print out the invoice and give him the item - he asks for LetsBuys TIN number. I call them. They say they dont have one (!?). I explain to them that as a business theyre sure to have one.
They say tell the courier to go. Its now over 3 weeks since I placed the order - Theres no sign of getting my original order and Im beginning to think I might as well just live with it. Suddenly order is picked up- no TIN number this time.
Its now been 10 days since I sent the item back and there are no responses to mails or calls regarding when theyll ship me my order.
Pathetic service!
