I placed my order for Samsung Galaxy R mobile phone at Letsbuy.com on 22nd December 2011 and its order number is **LSB-737033.
*I bought the phone to gift it to someone on their birthday that falls during the end of this month. Letsbuy claimed that(and still claims that) the phone will be delivered in 2 to 4 working days - https://letsbuy.com/samsung-galaxy-i9103-r-p-26917. I also called up and emailed Letsbuy customer service as soon as I placed the order and I was assured that the order would be delivered before 27th December 2011(4th working day).
On the 1st working day after placing the order, I got an email from Letsbuy intimating that my order had moved to "In process" status. I was pretty confident that I would be receiving the phone by 27th December 2011.
To my shock, I got an email from Letsbuy on the 3rd working day after placing the order that the product is not in stock. Letsbuy folks literally took 5 days(including the weekend) to understand that the product is not in stock. Till this moment I have sent them dozens of emails and they do not have a guaranteed delivery date yet.
I can see that a bunch of Samsung Galaxy R buyers at Letsbuy are sailing in the same boat. Even after all this, Letsbuy hasnt bothered to update their product listing https://letsbuy.com/samsung-galaxy-i9103-r-p-26917 with the right delivery time - even after I requested them multiple times to update the product listing with "Out of Stock" status. This is a clear proof that Letsbuy wants to attract as many buyers as possible to make some quick money and is planning to agonize genuine buyers like us.
I should have bought this phone from Ebay when they were selling it for the same price as Letsbuy.
I request you to avoid buying stuff from Letsbuy. I have made a lot of online purchases from ebay and Flipkart till date, and none of them had any issues like this. I think Letsbuy is being run by a bunch of jokers who doesnt know anything about customer satisfaction.
