Letsbuy, Big time disappointment Ord # LSB-491637

I placed the order for HTC chacha mobile on 15th of october saturday and I expected to get it despatched from letsbuy by 17th being monday. I am yet to get an update on this order. my problem is that I have given my office address and I deperately need to get the mobile by this week as I will be travelling to my native and I donot want the shipment to get missed out.


I see many posting a complaint after there is any issue but here I am posting it so that the executives could look at this before it is too late for me. I desperately need a mobile by this week as my old one is gone bad. I have also checked from the customer care the amount has been credited and will be shipped by today 18th oct. They have also agreed to make sure that they put the shipment as urgent. I hope to receive my product by the promised date 21st. The main reason for me posting here is that there is no delay and any delay would cause me lotsa troubles.


As far as I am concerned I have had good experience from letsbuy until now but would give a five star if I get the product on time by 21st. Will be very happy to see response from any one at letsbuy.


Update on 19th oct:


When I called today the customer service person advised that the shipment is due for dispatching. but I am not sure if that is the case and I will keep you posted on the same.


Pawan if you are looking into this can you please give an update to me via my mobile 9840336821.


I am waiting for my product and please dont disappoint me letsbuy. Get it delivered by 21st October.


Update on 19th Oct night:


I called the customer care and got the same response that its due to get dispatched and I might get the courier details any time in the day. but its already 11.30 in the night and I have not got any updates. Slight disappointment but I still hope someone from review looks at this issue at the earliest. Next update tomorrow morning.


Update on 20th Morning:


I again called customer care today morning and Mansi the customer care person who had talked to me the two previous instance yesterday answered me saying that she is escalating to concerned department but I was not convinced and told her that letsbuy is really not up to the mark as that of Flipkart or ebay who keep giving us proper updates and I had never called them chasing for any product. I told her that it is really dicouraging to do business with them.


Finally she agreed to update me by 3pm today failing which I am planning to call them again. What else do I have in my hands when I have paid the money. Just saw one mail from letsbuy given below. Not sure how useful that would be.


I have reduced it to two stars from three as I am feeling really disappointed but I would still with recommending it to my friend option because of the slight hope letsbuy would stick to their promise.

Update on 20th Morning: 12pm:


I finally have been informed that the colour of mobile I ordered was out of stock and I had to cancel the order, . big time disappointment as I wanted to get this gifted. Real time disppointment and I doubt if I would ever come back to letsbuy. Atleast get the money refunded at the earliest without any more hassles.
