The store promised delivery in 3 to 5 days but the mobile I had ordered was not despatched only on the fifth day. Anyone could have trouble as many things are dependent on others but what I cannot tolerate is the lack of communication. I sent an e-mail on the third day because the status was still on "Ready for dispatch" There was no reply for two days and on the third day, I got a mail which said "it will be dispatched today" For one full week, the package did not arrive. Even if someone had walked from Delhi to Hosur, it should have reached but my query was never answered. Finally, I called the helpline and I was not given any reasons but I was told rather curtly that the package has already reached Hosur and that it will be delivered within 48 hours. Luckily, I could get the consignment number and so enquired with the local branch of Blue Dart.
Even though the company says delivery "Pan India", Blue Dart was sitting on the package because my residence is beyond 10 kms from Hosur and so they cannot deliver. Probably, Lets Buy.com does not know the meaning of "Pan India" I checked the India map and found that I was still inside the country.
An internet based company must have someone monitoring their e-mails constantly and hence refusing to answer e-mails speaks very poorly of their efficiency and management. I would never buy another product from this shopping site again and would strongly advice anyone to keep away.
