Worst and worth experience with LETSBUY.

I want to share my worst and worth experience with LETSBUY and want to thanks Mr. Amit (letsbuy).


I had ordered one sony vaio laptop on 29-sep-11 from letsbuy (letsbuy Ref no: 427426)


and my transaction amount was debited from citibank but was not received by Letsbuy.


I called citibank regarding the money, they confirmed me that the amount is debited from


your account, but when I contacted letsbuy they said that they have not received


money and they cannot help me in this.


After this I called letsbuy many times seeking information regarding my order/money but recevied same reply everytime, also almost all the time I was on hold for very long time more than 12


min ( it is not a toll free number).


I called letsbuy everyday more than 10 times, but no satisfactory response.


Also, I had sent the email to customtakeoutercare@letsbuy.com but never received any response.


As my money has been debited from citibank and amount is more than Rs


25, 000, so I have no option left other than following up with Letsbuy.


The final conclusion which I received from letsbuy customtakeouter care is that


"*Your transaction is failed, so we cannot ship you the laptop, also if


we(letsbuy) receive the amount we will return it back, please do one more


transaction for purchasing the laptop*".


In this situation, I don’t know what to do whether I should go for one


more transaction or not ( as citibank claim that your amount has been debited


and transferred to letsbuy. They added, if you want you can put a case of


dispute on letsbuy ), also If I go for one more transaction and letsbuy


ship me both laptop then what I will do.


Hence, I decided not to do one more transaction and was so frustrated that I was planning


to put a case for dispute.


After all this I googled and able to find one more email id of LETSBUY and as a last try I sent a mail to this id and instantly, I received the below reply from Mr. Amit.

not only that I recived a call from him also.


I was so much happy that atleast some one in letsbuy is there to listen the customtakeouter request.


Mr. Amit Gaur promised me that he will provide me an update on regular basis and almost daily I received an update mail from him regarding my order status.


and in last I received my sony vaio laptop.


I want to thank Mr. Amit Gaur for his valuable followup.


If letsbuy is reading this feedback, I request them to pls bring the below changes in letsbuy:


1) Recruit some more employees like Mr. Amit Gaur in your company.


2) Add/Bring some toll free number ( where customtakeouter can call and contact letsbuy ).


3) Define a timeline to customtakeoutercare@letsbuy.com for replying the customtakeouters email ( atleast they should reply, like.. we are looking into your request). In last, I recommend everyone to shop at letsbuy for online shopping and never loose a hope.
