Poor Customer Care from LetsBuy - Updated

I bought Samsung Galaxy R from Letsbuy.com(Order No: LSB-742573). Unfortunately the device was faulty with an issue with the sensor. I called them up asking them about the replacement warranty which the executive agreed to get it replaced. I was to only go to a samsung service center and get a Job card. I got the job card and sent it to Letsbuy after scanning as instructed. I was duly given a complaint number: is CC111238708.


Post that I received a call from Letsbuy informing me that someone would be sent to collect the piece from me and a replacement piece would be dispatch. however, the very next day, I again receive a call and I am told that since the phone is not dead, I wont get a replacement. I really do not understand the co-ordination between the folks at Letsbuy. I am still awaiting a final replaced piece.


Update: I have received the replacement handset from LetsBuy.com. Hence this update. Even though their customer care is poor and almost no updates neither on email or calls. As a matter of fact there is a lot of mis-communication in between their own teams.


The only reason I am updating my comments are because of one person - Gautam - who primarily looks into these updates on Mouthshut.com and/or other social media sites. It was solely responsible for changing my opinion on Letsbuy.com. I really hope his Managers take a note of this guy’s efforts.
