Le TV is a Chinese brand which made some sudden serious name in the indianarket with the launch of its budget smartphone the le eco le 1s. This phone packs in some high end specifications and is very aggressive in price . Thus phone comes only in 32 GB variant and is priced around 9000 rupees in the current market . The phone was launched in late February and has been dominating the budget market since them .
The phone some cool features like the fingerprint scanner , ir blaster, dolby atmos speakers and the most attractive 1 year sponsorship for free movies through the levidi.
So let’s summarise the device in its pros and cons
First let’s look at some pros of the device
Pros:
The phone is one of its class when it comes to looks . The phone looks pretty premium and the side screen looks almost bezel less. The whole body is carved out of aluminium and is very premium in looks and in hand feels
The phone has a 5.5 inch full HD display with resolution of 1920×1080p with pixel density of 441ppi .
The phone has an IR blaster on the top for which u can use this phone to operate almost all devices in your house like TVs , and AC’s etc.
The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back which is pretty responsive and is very fast in unlocking the phone.
The phone has a 13 mp rear facing camera with single led flash .the lens is a Sony exymor lens and the pictures in NOLA light and outdoor conditions come out to be very great.
The batterg is a 3000 mah non removable battery . The battery is very good and the performance is pretty decent.
The phone has capacitive buttons which are backlight and are helpful in night or low light.
The phone has single speakers in the posterior end on in the down which is USB type C and also supports fast charge with which the charges very quickly.
The phone has a mediatek helio x10 octacore core choose clocked at. 2.2 GHz . The phone comes with 3gb of ram out of which 1.7 GB of ram is available to the user on the first boot . And I have to say that the phone does not lag at all .
Now let’s look at some cons of the device :
The first and the major issue found on the device is the heating . Yes the phone has some major heating issues , but don’t worry after the new software update the heating issues have been taken care now .
The battery life is also moderate and can give u up to 3.5 to 4.5 hours of screen on time on heavy usage. This battery life could have been better . Now let’s hope that letv does look into the matter and bring our some solution to it through its OTA update.
Next the camera is pretty good in natural light but it struggles a lot in low light and the pictures come out to be blurry.
4 . No microsd card so no extra memory which is again bad.
- The phone although supports 4G LTE but does not come with vo-LTE enabled which is some sort of disappointment .
But keeping all this issues aside this phone still has some mind blowing features to look at like the free movie subscription the ir blaster etc . In fact I have been using this phone as my primary phone since 1 months and I have to say this phone handles all the pressure very well and the ram management is very good.
