I have been wearing Levis jeans for decades now, bought all over the world, and now in India also since they started being made and sold here. No complaints. So far.
But yesterday, sent a family member to buy me a pair of standard 511 42x34 in loose parallel fit from Levis NDSE/New Delhi, and sent a sample pair which I currently use along. They paid for it, sent it for length alteration, and now what I have in return is a different kind of paid of jeans where the fabric feel weight style and even the leather badge appears to be kind of different, almost like those fake jeans you get for 100/200 rupees, was sent.
When I call the showroom, they say "no exchange policy". The jeans, when they were picked up, had all the labels and tags removed. The Levis website for India is a masterpiece in not revealing anything - they dont even have a customer complaint option or contact us option.
I guess time to move on to another brand. Have never felt so cheated in all my life.
