I purchased Lexmark All in One 4270, because of loads of features and the lower cost, (then). Excellant in what it provides, but Answering Machine feature needs an answering machine, then why it claims a feature of this product. Scanning is good in many ways, but glossy print gives grey steaks, horrible and unacceptable. User interface is extremely poor! I give only 25 marks out of 100! There is no default setting by an user for scanning job. The main page is not scaleable by user, remains on top, no choice to set. Scanning take time so if you want to do other work, you need to minimize window. ADF use for photographs is useless. You can not put a bunch of photographs and let the scanner finish. Help page is poor, because there is nothing more to use therefore ’Help’ is helpless! Very filmsy in feel, I always feel worried as if something may break, whether trays, or as a whole machine, as if made from paper! I am not sure hoe they would like to get consumer feedback. Last but least, for a price, a good bargain.
