The Lexmark X 4270 falls under the Lexmark 4200 series. This U.S.A based printer launched in 2003 is doing well in India. speacially this X4270 has won an award .This particular printer has got fax, telephone, answering machine, copy, scan, printing. It is a classy model and is very light. its grey and black body colour helps to prevent the dirty look.
Not only its easy to handle but also its maintainance free.it has 13 attachable parts and takes a very small place.
printing is very fast(not quite sure about pages/min but its faster than h.p.) I use 2 printers of the same model(hp 4255) and so I can assure u this.the ink doesnt take too long to dry up unlike hp’s.
the printer shows u the ink level of both black and colour. the status of the printer can also be known...
comming to scaning.... scanning photographs is the best way. glossy pic is not so clear.... but if the matt ones are scanned..... its better than the original !
and if u wanna play with ur images.. like changing the brightness, colour, contrast... u can do it!
now many wud go with the brand name and not take lexmark coz it is not that famous. but I can guarantee u that the after service of lexmark is pretty gud than hps. (im using hp for the last 6 yrs) .lexmark gives u 1 yr warrantee
