Similar to the review on the Lexmark X63, the Lexmark X83 is the worst purchase I have ever made. From day one, the paper has jammed. I realign the paper, realign the paper guides, clear the machine, and try to reprint. It works for a short time, and then begins jamming again. This happens day after day. I have almost picked up the machine and thrown it in the garbage. When purchasing it, I was also under the impression I was getting a true ’’fax’’ machine, in the ’’all-in-one’’, but found when opening the box, when it listed fax on the box, it needed to be done through the computer, and couldn’t be used independently. I do NOT recommend this printer. I have tried to contact customer service online, but can never connect to the site.
