L.G. is known for its customer care and support services.
I have been using this air conditioner for the past 2-3 years now. I have to admit that during the first few months this AC was satisfying it cooled a room of 100 sqft within minutes. But then after a year or so the cooling rate was reduced considerably.
Another thing is its maintainence, the maintainence cost of this model is high.
It maybe spares or refilling the coolant or a simple routine service the technicians charge Rs.1200 per service and visit excluding any spares or extra effort they might have to put up in-case.
A major pain in the neck is its sound. The sound of the fan is louder than most air conditioners due to which I have to put with with annoying buzz sound along with vibrations.
It is an old model and gets clogged with dust fast and you have got to clean it in order to make it work with efficiency again.
Sometimes fumes come out of it fumes as in condensed vapour could be seen coming out of it.a
Although L.G’s customer service and support is good as usual but does not help much if their product is flawed.
Overall I think there are better models out there than this, which would be a better pick than this. Its not much of a value for money product as liabilities get compounded per year as the machine ages.
