Advantages: Good low-end machine
Disadvantages: Problems with Matrix and Region 1
I was looking for a low-end DVD player to get me into the world of DVD. The 2330P seems to have been a good buy, with all of the features found on a high-end player, such as picture zoom, repeat, random, markers, pause, slow and search. The remote is a little chunky, but as there are a heck of a lot of buttons, I guess thats the trade-off. According to a search on Usenet after Id bought it, there was a problem playing The Matrix on early models of this machine, and it also seems to be expensive if you need to chip this machine for use with Region 1 disks.
This machine does everything I want from a DVD player, and the picture quality is excellent.
