I purchased this TV last year in a discount store in hyderabad for Rs 35, 000. Its the best that money can buy in this price range. You may think that because its cheap it may not be good but thats not at all true. You will cojme to know by the end of this review what an excellent product it is. The main reason I bought this was not for the features but because my furniture is reddish brown in colour , so it would match my hall.
Ok dumb things aside , lets get down to business:
Pros:
1) IPS panel is great , it minimises the glare of lights and also protects from knocking and scratches.
2) The 3.1 ch surround is fantastic and has good bass response.
3) Wall mount bracket is provided free of cost by the company
4) The remote is very easy to use and has SIMPLINK (If u have another LG product like DVD player then the TV remote can be used for the DVD player as well)
5) No other TV supports playing DivX movies from the USB drive.Though it does not support Hi-Def content from the USB , still the video playback is smooth and vibrant. You can even connect external hard disk to it
6) The user interface and features selection is very vivid and easy to understand.
7) It has a mind blowing 8 speakers to create a surround effect, which is very cool.
8) It is also the only TV to support HDMI v1.3 interface, which is the future technology..Other TVs have v1.2.
9) Lots of connectivity options (2 Composite, 2HDMI, S-Video)
Cons:
1) Their is no option to control the woofer volume , sometimes it feels very high
2) Heats up quite a bit (dont know about other TVs)
3) Ports are a little inside , difficult to see where the ports are.
