Free Offer DTH connection with LG TVI purchased 2 LG LCD 32LH20R TV sets from X-Cite Electronics, Sector 35C, Chandigarh on 29th June’09 against Bill No RET - 644. As per the offer, one DTH connection was to be provided free with each TV.
The TV sets were delivered on 29th June.
On 8th July, I sent following documents by regd post in one envelope to M/S Spectramind Marketing, Noida as per the terms set out:
1) Two Drafts of Rs 99 each
2) Two coupons duly completed number 231788 and 231755
3) Two Bar code stickers - one from each TV box
4) One copy of Bill(only one bill had been issued for 2 TV sets)
On 23rd July I was informed by SMS that one DTH connection had been rejected - no reason was given.
After making at least 10 calls to Spectramind Marketing since 23rd July, we were told today that the rejection was due to there being only one bill copy. The person in customer care Mr Manish was explained that only one bill had been issued for 2 TVs but he refused to listen or transfer the call to any senior executive.
The bill clearly mentioned "2 Pcs TV sets" etc.
Through this I want to highlight how both LG and Spectramind have combined to play fraud with customers. All LG prospective customers are warned about this to beware of their promotional offers.
I am surprised that a company like LG is involved in such cheap fraud with Spectramind Marketing
