Nice TV

I bought the LG 32" LH20 LCD TV during the Diwali of 2009, and after about 6 months of using the product, I am glad to inform all that the product is good and total value for money. It costed me, 32500/- and after exchanging my old 29" CRT it costed me 29000/-. The dealer (CROMA) also threw in the 50 DVD pack along with an LG DVD player with USB drive which has no Region Code problems.

About the TV : Picture quality is good. HD Ready is just fine, given our Cable TV doesnt do HD content.

The only 2 flip sides to the TV are:The Sound Output, which is really low. Especially for those of us who are used to CRT TVs which usually have bigger speakers. Those with Home Theatres need not worry about this.

The other irritating thing is that a TV so expensive only has 1 AVI cable Input !! So you will have to buy an extra HDMI cable or Progressive cable, else you will have to manually plug in the DVD cables to watch DVDs. The TV/AV function on the remote is rendered useless. The company should have  given an extra AVI cable input like CRTs do.

But otherwise, it’s a good buy. Go for it.
