Good Product package; Bad Customer Service

I purchased this TV and its a great product when it works. In about a month’s time, we discovered that the TV does not switch on / goes off intermittently. When it works, it shows the picture and sound, but it just refuses to go ON. Some basic flaw. We call the LG customer care and engineer shows up and says that some part needs to be replaced. And the guy just vanishes and after that a few calls to the call center, to the manager - who says in the next half an hour someone will come to your house and fix it.


When you purchase a 60000 rupee product and when you get a this kind of treatment, you feel that LG is cheating you. These guys don’t even have the decency to followup and tell what;s going on? I want my TV replaced with a brand new piece - can someone help?
