Optical output is freakingly doesn't even work DAC

I got my TV (42LM6410-TB)few months ago and noticed that it doesn’t analogue audio output but optical I have logitech subwooher which has 3.5mm audio input. so I bought one DAC and toslink cable.

Connected the to TV. DIDN’T work. Any suggestions ? I am fed of this thing man.
