I bought this TV in Bangalore from Hypercity retail. You can easily find this TV in the range of rs 34000 to rs 40000 in the market.
TV quality from plasma standards is good. I chose plasma as per my budget. Plasma screen may not be as bright as latest LED screens but they are comparable to older LCD screens. Only disadvantage is that they are reflective so obviously that is the case with this TV. If your TV is placed where you get reflection from window, tube light etc. on your TV screen this TV may not be a good choice. You will enjoy the video quality in the dark.
TV has all the necessary features. HDMI, USB etc. So far I have been able to play AVI, MKV, MPEG movie files using USB input. Using the TV remote and UI is pretty easy.
I have connected my TV to SD Tata Sky box. As this is a HDTV it scales up the resolution before display. The scaling unit inside the TV is not great. Characters become a little wider (fat) during scaling as aspect ratio is changed. It is bearable or else go for a HD box, although LG engineers could have done a better job on scaling.
I am not happy with the sound quality of the TV. Although it has clear voice and other features I still find it difficult to understand characters while watching shows. I have compared the sound output with that of my laptop. My laptop sound output is far better. I feel like I should attach extra speakers to TV for better sound quality. However, I am not sure whether sound signal generated by TV is bad or TV speakers are bad.
Overall for a given price it is an okay purchase.
