Mouthshut has become a place where people come only to complain! I am sick of the negative reviews. What is the point of a review if all products in all categories from all manufacturers are supposed to be bad? Take for example the negative review on this washing machine? After reading that review I am compelled to write a one myself.
I own the washer dryer combo myself and it works like a charm. I bought it from eZone, Chennai and got it delivered next day, the technician installed it after two days. I am not sure why others complain about long delivery times. If you buy it from a crappy dealer for cheap(deep discount) then please expect cheap service as well.
Yes the technician who came to install and demo did not explain much and asked us to read the manual. And yes the manual is very small and not very detailed. But the machine is a charm to use! It is fully automatic, washing and drying included. Drop the clothes in, add detergent, select wash cycle and drying option and press the start button. That’s all, it takes care of everything. Your dry dirty clothes go in and come out as dry clean clothes!
This machine is not for everyone. Yes it is expensive and complicated but that is because it is so advanced. Direct drive motor, steam wash, clothes refresh, in built dryer, the list goes on and on. Okay let me say it, this machine is perfect for an NRI. It does things even machines in USA do not do. Wash and dry your clothes in a single operation. You do not have to move your wet clothes from the washer into the dryer.
Even though it says 9Kg wash and 5Kg dry I have never had to remove 4 Kg clothes out for drying. I stuff it and it washes and dry’s them all! If you know what I am talking about, there is no freaking lint collector that one has to clean on every dry cycle! Being a front loading machine my clothes are much cleaner compared to the top loading washer I used in US. Collar stains are fading with each wash.
For those complaining about wet clothes after wash here’s some advice, do not mix cottons with denim(jeans) it will not work! Also do not forget to select the drying option! It is not automatically selected. After drying there is a cool down cycle. If you leave your clothes there then it tries to prevent creases by tumbling clothes once in a while. You can stop that and remove your clothes if you are ready to iron them. Again this is will not work if you overstuff the machine as there is no room for the clothes to move about in the drum.
If you are an NRI buy this with eyes closed. I have used this for about 1 month. Long term I am not sure but I feel confident that this will last long. The motor warrantee goes for about 10 years, that’s pretty long.
