I have purchased a LG Tromm washing machine five years back with the warranty of 2 or three years. Initially machine was good but started to develop problems thereafter. Service people said d mother board failed. When we asked about warranty they said "Warranty would not cover mother board". so we paid nearly Rs. 4000/- and serviced it during warranty period. after few months machine stopped functioning. Reason they said scaling and asked us to send the washing machine to nearest service center.
So to and fro transport cost alone came around Rs.400/-+ service charges of Rs.1750/- Now read again from II line. Because I have coughed out Rs.4000/- again for another so called mother board failure and another 2 years gone by. Now Dec 2010, read again from II line. An engineer came and informed the same with salaiva dripping tung that we have to pay Rs.4000/- to replace the mother board. Prior to his visit he informed us that we have to shell out Rs.375/- for diagnizing charges. We paid Rs.375/- for the diagnosis and at last we realised that we too have brain. Decided to say goodby to LG TROMM and Theivery of LG Service. Now we are going to test our luck with IFB.
