This month I purchased LG 8kg/4kg washer cum dryer after reading its positive review on mouthshut.com but the machine started projecting electric shocks from its body and tripping the Main ckt breaker.
The technician then measured the voltage at the electrical point which showed 235V and he showed me the warranty terms which clearly stated warranty voids if volt is more than 220V. Indian voltage system is 230V and that is why all reliable brands give a range that is 220~250V for their appliances.
Now the Reliance Digital is a firm and not a one man show and they have a system they changed my machine to whirlpool 360 and refunded the rest of money immediately. So I warn all the members kindly do not go with the crowd and do all the research. Learn from other people’s mistakes.
