I’am writing the review after around 4 months of usage(purchased on Diwali).
This 5.5 Kg machine may take a load of around 10-12 clothes and around 3 normal bedsheets.
Pros:
I received prompt and good service for initial set-up.(of course prompt service could also be because LG service center is quite close to our house:-). They have set-up the machine without much fuss and explained the operation of the unit patiently.
Coming to actual issue of cleaning process, it cleans well and is gentle on the clothes. I can see the clear collars of the shirt after the wash. The machine wriggles out the water well, but clothes are to be dried.
It uses very less water compared to top loading machine. I feel usage is even less compared to hand-wash.
Another point to be mentioned is sound level. The operation is very quiet. I can comfortably watch TV without increasing sound volume
Last but not the least price point at which this machine is offered of around Rs 19000. It is the entry level machine but no less than other high end models in terms of functionality.
Cons:
One drawback is it takes quite a long time to complete the wash cycle ranging from min one hr to max two and half hrs. Not sure if this issue is category issue(not just LG machine alone) i.e., it is same with entire front loading machines category.
You have options of Quick 30 and Cotton quick, but normal wash options like Cotton and synthetic takes quite long time.
In summary, I’am a happy customer.
The operation is quiet and cleans well. It is gentle on clothes. It has good wash options and uses less water.
So it is complete value for money at this price point of around Rs 19000. It can even give good competition for other high end models.

Wash options
The RPM comes last, as it only matters during spin(or drying of clothes) cycle. Higher the RPM, the more faster and better would the drying process. However after certain speed it will not make much difference. This machine is having 800 RPM. I felt it is adequate, as water is completely removed, but clothes need to be dried outside for some time.
