I am writing this review after a long hiatus. so I am bit rusty, please dont mind
Overview
The Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) is basically a cross between a mobile phone and a normal landline.
Its got all the features of a normal landline and
1) It does not have wires, so you can take it anywhere in your house without hassles
2) It also has various other more mobile phone features like 99 memory phonebook, caller id, sms, ringtones etc.

Usability
Owners of normal landlines will get pleasantly surprised to use this.. however please do not expect it to have all the features of a mobile.. it is not a mobile and does not claim to be one too.
The phone really behaves like a landline (yes you get a dial tone!) and has the ease of use of a landline (ie, you dont have to dial a no and press the CALL button.)
The speakerphone built into the phone has good speakers, but the mic could have been better.
Smsing from this handset is a pain. They keys are too big for experienced mobile users like me.. its takes time getting used to. The menus are unintuitive too.
The ringtones are tolerable (surpisingly, since LG is the maker), and the alarm function I s good
I primarily use this phone for the net. and it is an excellent option for that. For 1500 bucks I get unlimited acces at 115kbps with no bandwidth restriction..
Verdict
This phone is very good if you use it solely for the internet connection (for students and others) and its also suitable for offices.
For normal usage in homes I would recommend the LG LSI - 110 please see: https://relianceinfo.com/Infocomm/Rip/rip_cdmafwp_cordless.html
Hope to write a review on that soon (as soon as I get hold of it)
