I recently bought a computer and after analysing different moniters I bought the 17 inch LG Flatron E700S moniter.it is a wonderful moniter with a variety of features.the image size, position and operating parameters adjustment is quick and easy with On Screen Display.
FRONT PANEL- the front panel of this moniter is very nice with only well designed 7 buttons. this makes the moniter look tidy and simple.
ON SCREEN DISPLAY: The on screen display is easy to navigate through and has almost all the features we can expect like language, CDT use time(to show how long the moniter has been used)OSD position, video level, tilt along with the common features of all moniters.
PICTURE TUBE: It has a 17 inch picture tube of which 16 inch is viewable.this makes it a hotshot for gaming, movies etc.it has 90 degree deflection. also the most important one is the AGARAS(Anti Glare Anti Reflective Anti Static)coating which makes your eyes to be comfortable even after long work of working on it.
RESOLUTION: It has a wide range of resolution to choose from.the maximum resolution that we can get is 1280*1024 @ 60Hz. It also has a 2 year on site warranty.it’s weigth is 16 kgs so it is a little heavier. The cost is just Rs9500. Well I am happy to buy this moniter as I am doing engineering and in the college computer lab I spend daily around 6 hours, there the 14 inch moniters are just awesome and I develop strain in my eyes. also there is no need of anti glare or protective screen as this moniter already has a coating done on it.the operating temprature is 10-40 degree C so there is no problem. finally I would like to give full points to LG for making such a nice moniter and I would recommend it to all the gamers and movie watchers out there.
