Before I write anything I should tell all that I have experience with TV brands like LG Sony Crown BPL Videocon..most of which we had possessed.
I purchased my flatron model (21 inch 400W)1.5 years back and till now it has earned me the vows!!! and appreciations of my friends and visitors..
It has given continuous trouble free entertainment with least of price (atleast if compared to good brands in market)
Pros
I got it for price of 12500 which was solid 3k-4k less than a competing Sony model.
I think technically it is fit and fine for competing with sony...believe me I think LG is better than than or equal to all other brands in India
It is really flat!!!
The design aesthetics is superb ...I am not bored of its looks (grey cabinet)even after such a long time.
It Has audio/video in both in side and rear of cabinet..extremely important if you showcase is space constrained and also if you VCD player cables are short and also if you are in habit of connecting your playstation and vcd player simultaneously.

channel management is good
Very ergonomic remote control
Cons
Very boring games..ofcourse many other sets don’t have any inbuilt game at all
Not very good sound quality though it is sufficient loud
In case you are having HiFi system it is of no significance atleast when you are watching movies from a vcd, dvd.
