I purchased a lg G1600 just 3 months back for rs 3900 and I am having a delightful experience with it. I believe it is the cheapest lg phone, an average performer in its class.
i will write down some of its features
1 messages
sms;mms;voicemail
2 voice recorder
10 recordings only 20secs each
3 world time
4 my folder where u can store all th downloaded stuffs
5 gprs miserably slow I dont know whether it is the problem with the phone or the isp
6 java (i dont know what is it used for)
7 polyphonic ring tones + more can be downloaed
8 65k color display (simply superb)
The phone is very simple and the features are even more limited There is no loud speaker facility , u cant assign the recording as a ringtone. The design may not appeal to all but the back side looks cheap and plasticky. The display screen is pretty large but the words COLOUR DISPLAY written on top of the screen is the first thing that comes across when u have a first look. The keys are pretty wide and helps in easy sms ing.The 65k color display simply steals the show it is better than my nokia 6610i and sony ericsson t290i..U cant assign individual ringtones to ur friends but u can assign group ring tones.Unfortunately the sound is too meek u can hardly hear them in the traffic. The software is very responsive. The menu is extemely easy to use but the joy stick is small and slightly inconvinient to scroll. Got a couple of good screen savers and wall papers (more wallpapers can be downloaded).I cant understand why but my batterly charge is not holding for long I have to charge it almost once in 2 days.
overall it is a good phone basic, and easy to use.and maybe worth for the price.
