I always wanted the HTC One. When I got money then I came to know that the HTC One has discontinued and HTC has launched its dual sim variant called the HTC One Dual Sim but it costed very much higher around about 45k and I don’t have that much money, I was very disappointed. In the range around 35k I had several options like Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and LG G2 16GB(considering only flagships, not included the HTC One Mini coz its not a flagship phone and it sucks bcoz of the pathetic pricing of HTC).
I didn’t go for S4 bcoz of the outdated Snapdragon 600 processor and Samsung’s old design[If u are not a mobile geek, then u cant differentiate between Galaxy Grand(? 18k) and Galaxy S4(? 36k)] and Samsung phones are too common these days. The Xperia Z1 got a 21MP Camera and its water and dust resistant but I chose the G2 over it bcoz Z1 packs a smaller 5" screen in a much bigger body than the G2 which have a larger 5.2" display in a smaller body. Sony UI is also very similar to the stock android vanilla UI and it has very less modifications.
The display of the G2 is very bright and has natural colours. The phone has a very slim profile. I chose the White color option bcoz the black one attracts fingerprints on the back. The phone’s battery lasts the whole day from morning till night with full charge and I must tell u that I am a very heavy mobile user and use Internet, Games, whatsapp, videos, Music and rarely for calls. The 13MP cam is good for casual photographers. The Night shots are just Ok for me(My friend has a S4 and S4 have much better night photography as compared to G2). The phone wakes up with double tap which I love the Most. Qslide feature(Floating Mini apps) is also very useful. It has an IR blaster and u can control ur tv, AC, and almost everything that comes with a remote.
