I am here to write a review about LG G2.so lets get started.
The G2, from LG, was unveiled at a press event in New York City on August 7th, 2013. Its an older phone thats unlikely to be available for purchase new. In the US, it was available from carriers AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile.
The phone runs on the Android operating system, which is currently the most popular platform on the market. Due to this phones age, it may not support running the latest software and apps that newer phones can.
Camera Rating: A-
The G2 has a 13 megapixel rear(primary) camera, which will produce high quality photos. Its 2.1 megapixel front camera makes it a good selfie phone. It can capture 1080p high definition video with its primary camera, which is second only to 4K in terms of recording quality.
Optical image stabilization means that this smartphones camera is particularly good at taking videos and images even if the camera isnt perfectly still. It will actually offset slight movements of the camera lens to capture smooth images.
Display Rating: A+
The G2 has a 5.2 inch display, placing it on the larger end of phones released in 2013.
The screen has a resolution of 1, 920 pixels by 1, 080 pixels, making it a 1080p HD screen. Display sharpness can be measured in the density of pixels per square inch of screen, and at 423 PPI, its 1.8 times sharper than the average phone released in 2013.
Battery Rating: A
The G2 has an advertised talk time of 18 hours, significantly longer than 10 hours, the average of phones also released in 2013. In terms of battery capacity, which is the actual electric charge the battery holds, this phone can hold 3, 000 mAh, a massive battery capacity for a smartphone released in 2013.
Thicker Than Most with an Average Weight
The phones body is 138.43 mm high, 70.87 mm wide, and has a depth of 8.89 mm, 10% thinner than an average smartphone released in 2013. In fact, its thin enough to have a case and still be thinner than an average phone.
With a weight of 143 grams, its weight is about average for a smartphone of its size. The phone has a large battery for its size, which weighs it down.
Performance Rating: A-
The G2 houses a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system on a chip. Its CPU runs at 2.2 GHz, which is much higher than average for a smartphone processor.
With 2 GB of RAM, the G2 has much more memory than other phones released in 2013.
Putting specs into real application, benchmarks help provide an even playing field for comparison. The LG G2 performed very well during the benchmark tests. For example, the Geekbench Single Core average score is 426.
Acceptable Storage Size
The base model of the G2 has 16 GB of internal storage, which is a modest amount when compared to other smartphones released in 2013.
So this was my review hope you liked it.
