I bought my LG g2 from indiatimes shopping before 2 months. I brought it for Rs.32000 16GB white color version.Performance and battery life were the only main two factors I concerned about while choosing a mobile. Of course I have a budget limit of 30k.The mobiles I ended up with Nexus 5, LG G2 and Samsung S4 as my choices.
I dont want to go for Samsung as I always have had a bad impression about Samsungs quality and performance. Nexus 5 has same specifications as G2 except battery life and camera quality.
I heard from my friends that battery life is not up the mark in nexus 5.
So I had chosen LG G2 even though its bit more than my budget.
About the mobile, The main design factor that attracts on first look is the thin bezel around screen. The bright display is just super clear. 20% brightness is more than sufficient indoors.
The power and volume rocker buttons at the back which is not so comfy I have to turn my mobile to find out the button placement every time. I hope I ll get used to in some days.I have not explored much in camera, but seems to be good.It has a special feature which helps in controlling any remote based device(tv, ac, settop box, dvd player, projector) I tested with my DTH and TV which works fine.
Battery life for heavy usage is 1.5 days and light usage is 2 solid days. I have 2 email accounts and Google contacts in sync all the time. Till now I have not faced restart issues.
My final words: Value for money
Pros:
Good battery life
Fast and responsive
Great signal and wifi reception compared to other phones
Less weight, slim and thin bezel
Cons:
No Dual sim
Power and volume rocker button needs some time to get trained
Plastic glossy back
No expandable memory
Non removable battery/backcover
