I purchased LG 254 AMG5 in Aug 2011. It work smoothly for one year exactly after completing one year it started problems. strange noise came from the compressor it last for some time and then will disappear. Atlast two days back there was only noise no cooling.
Called the service centre gave a reg no at night 8.30 a service technician came and said the pipe was rusted so need to take the same to service centre. No one turned up nextday called the office again according to them not such request received so they are able to take the same promised that will take on next day.
I used both vediocon and godrej refrigerators for more than 8 years not problem yet faced except the rusting. I am having IFB oven and washing machine, vediocon TV, electrolux a/c , Prestige mixer grinder & induction cooker, eureka forbs vaccum cleaner and water purifier. I used to get service for them but never have such worst service from LG. Refrigerator plays a vital role in home than any other appliance so they should give preference for service.
i will never purchase any LG products in future.
