I am using LG GL-D181KCOQ fridge from last few months. It is a single door fridge and it works well for small families or 1-2 persons. The cooling is very good. Items like milk, vegetables, and fruits stay fresh for long time. Even in summer, it cools fast and no problem with performance.
The size is also perfect. Not too big, so it fits easily in my kitchen. The design is simple but nice. I got the orchid color and it looks beautiful. The shelves inside are strong and can hold heavy vessels also. Vegetable box is also big enough for daily use.
One thing I liked is that it doesn’t use too much electricity. My current bill is almost same after using this fridge. So, it is energy efficient, and I don’t have to worry about high bills.
But yes, one small issue is there. Sometimes it makes sound. Not very loud, but when the room is quiet, I can hear it clearly. In night time specially, the sound is little disturbing. I think many fridges do that, but I feel this one makes bit more sound than usual. It’s not a very big problem, but yes, it’s there.
Freezer is small, but for me it’s enough. I don’t keep too much frozen items. But if you want to store big items in freezer, it may feel less space.
It also has fast ice making, which I really like. In hot days, it’s very useful. The door closes tight, and overall build is strong. Till now, no problem in cooling or leakage.
Overall, I think LG GL-D181KCOQ is a good fridge in this price range. It is simple, works nicely, saves power and looks good. Only small issue is the sound, but it is okay for daily use. If you are looking for a good fridge for 1-3 members, then this one is a smart choice.
