Sorry for late review. Ive been using this phone from july, though there is nothing perfect in world, atleast the product should be near perfection if not atleast very good.
When it comes to LG GM200 the phone is excellent in terms of audio n very good in battery back up(believe it or not it gives 6 days of backup for my usage). This is the first phone Ive ever seen which has dolby digital technology.the most important feature of the phone is w/l FM n the tuner is very good that it scans all the fm stations even without wire connected.
The design n look of the phone is not classy, the display resolution is less, the sad part of the phone is the phone doesnt allow to install any 3rd party software or themes which creates monotonous feeling n makes to get rid of the phone very quickly.
The browser of the phone is very bad it is not user friendly. also the keypad adds on to the trouble with the keys very hard to press they arent soft. rest of the other features are the same as Nokias 5130 but with additional feature of recording songs from FM.
Initially the phone had bugs with memory but LG has released new firmware with a fix for this I guess the phones now are coming with this new version firmware. but still the phone has bugs like no minimizing feature while listening to radio i.e nothing else can be done while listening to radio n also the radio doesnt resume back after the call.
There is also some prob with smart profiling LG claims that the phone will automatically adjusts the volume level based on the surrounding noise, but ive never experienced that happening, and also handsfree cannot be used outdoors where the noise levels are high the phone will disable the mic of the handsfree after the first 30 secs of a call. Finally my overall experience with this phone is good in terms of audio output quality n average in terms of rest of the features.
